P1/E formed in 1979 released one of the first indie 7” in Berlin, „49 Second Romance“, in January 1980 followed by tracks on the Monogam and Licht und Schatten Compilation.
After the split in 1981 the band members moved to Einstürzende Neubauten, EXKURS and Tennis Boy Blues. In 1989 Schäumer did two tracks for Acid generation from Big Sex Records.
