Based in Brest, France, Egoprisme is a darkwave solo project mixing a post-punk guitar, vocals in French and English, and cold wave electronic sounds. Founded in 2015, Egoprisme has since released four digital Eps on the labels Music from the masses (Fr.) and Tonn recordings (Ir.) and a first LP in 2018 on the French post-punk label Manic Depression Records, leading the project to play in clubs all around Europe.
His work also includes collaborations with various artists of the european cold scene, such as the italians of Stars Crusaders and Chemical Waves (Halo Effect), or the french artist Mode In Gliany with whom they created the project Premier Mouvement.

I've been introduced to Michael Schäumer after the German label Rule of Three invited me to make a cover of P1/E's 49 second romance track for a compilation. At the time, it was already a honor and a great challenge for me to try and make my own version of this intemporal hit, on which I sang in english. So I didn't hesitate when Michael later offered me to make a french version for this project gathering various talented artists from around the globe.
Although they could sound easy, the hardest part for me has been to translate the mood of the lyrics in french, which eventually led me to rewrite the whole arrangement. In the end, I feel thankful to have been part of this journey which gave me the opportunity to try new things and get out of my comfort zone.

P1/E formed in 1979 released one of the first indie 7” in Berlin, „49 Second Romance“, in January 1980 followed by tracks on the Monogam and Licht und Schatten Compilation.
After the split in 1981 the band members moved to Einstürzende Neubauten, EXKURS and Tennis Boy Blues. In 1989 Schäumer did two tracks for Acid generation from Big Sex Records.
